1961 Cadillac Convertible Restoration

Performed for the former President of General Motors, this 1961 Cadillac convertible restoration project (Series 62) has tremendous sentimental value to its owner and, despite the very extensive and expensive restoration involved, he decided to restore his beloved Cadillac rather than buy another.
Aside from the professional and personal milestones associated with this convertible Cadillac, this car served as a regularly driven vehicle from the streets of Manhattan to the Hamptons shoreline on Long Island. This car was driven and enjoyed so much that it arrived at CPR in a condition where it could no longer be safely driven.
This completed Cadillac restoration presented many challenges but, in the end, turned out to be worth every penny and bead of sweat expended. We knew how much our customer loved this car and we made sure that the completed car was a stunner that earned a First Place award at the 2016 Cadillac & LaSalle Club Grand National Meet.
We’ve all heard the saying “Good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good.” Well, this exceptional restored 1961 Cadillac makes that quote out to be a vast understatement. Despite the level of restoration, this car is not a trailer queen. It’s driven and that makes our hearts sing. Photographed on the bank of the mighty Hudson River, this restored 1961 Cadillac convertible is now back home with its owner and providing many miles of top-down cruising enjoyment.
