Welcome to a unique opportunity to acquire, not only an original 41k miles 1959 Cadillac in Wood Rose color with factory air conditioning, also one with a known ownership history. This is the very first time since new that this vehicle is offered to sale to the public. This car is very original only showing some paint touch ups which are contained to below the side body molding.
This car starts right up at the turn of the key, the engine is powerful and she runs and handles nicely. The transmission shifts smoothly and performs as you would expect. Upgrades: A dual brake master cylinder brake upgrade and beautiful Tru-Spoke Kelsey Hayes style wheels along with new radial tires installed last year. Wheels and tires cost $4,800.00 to acquire and have less than 400 miles on them. The original steel wheels and hubcaps are included in the sale.

History: This car’s original owner is believed to be an owner of American Ambulance Service. The second owner (from upstate NY) was someone who long admired 1959 Cadillacs since childhood and located the car through the Cadillac & LaSalle Club member list. He contacted and made plans to view the car despite the owner having no plans to sell. Apparently, impressed with the man’s passion and the fact that the man planned a family Michigan vacation around his viewing, owner agreed to sell him the Cadillac. The available 2008 title transfer paperwork documents that there were 33,520 miles on the car at that point. The new owner brought the car home, changed the water pump and installed a dual master cylinder and subsequently built a climate-controlled garage specifically to store the car.
The car’s current owner is also a classic Cadillac aficionado and 1959 Cadillac admirer who acquired the Coupe DeVille in 2023, which is also an interesting story. The then owner of this 1959 Cadillac went to a new car dealer seeking to purchase a Dodge Hellcat and mentioned to the manager that he also owned a 1959 Coupe DeVille. The manager, a friend of the car’s soon-to-be next owner, knew of his desire to find the right 1959 Cadillac coupe and gave him the man’s phone number.
A productive conversation resulted in the sale of the car. The current owner installed Tru-Spoke Kelsey Hayes style spoked wheels made which were fitted with new Coker 3 1/8” white wall tires. “I’ve loved the car and only want one of every car before I die,” joked this special car’s current caretaker.
